About Stocks On Chain

An independent site about stocks on chain. What every token is doing right now, and how to buy one if you never have.

What this is

Companies issue tokens that track their shares. The tokens trade on public chains. Several firms issue them, on more than one chain. This site tracks them in one place and sells nothing. You cannot buy anything here.

What we publish

Every number carries a timestamp and a link to its source.

How it works

A scheduled job reads the token contracts over public RPC and adds explorer data. The whole site then rebuilds as static HTML. There is no database and no account system. The numbers are fixed at build time, so pages load fast and crawlers and screen readers see the same data you do. Two small stateless edge functions exist beside the static pages - a read-only MCP server and the agent-tier gate - and they store nothing and serve only what the site already publishes. The methodology page lists every source, the refresh cadence, and the known limits of the data.

How we stay independent

Why we never ask you to connect a wallet

Everything about a static public site is copyable. Someone can take this layout, these fonts and these public numbers, register a domain one character off, and buy an advert against our name. We cannot stop that.

What we can control is what a copy has to do next. A copy exists to get a wallet connected or a recovery phrase typed, and that request is the one thing it cannot leave out. So this site never makes it. If a page that looks like this one asks you to connect a wallet, install something, sign in, or type a recovery phrase, it is not us. Close it.

A tripwire with exceptions is not a tripwire, so there is no exception and no feature worth one. That rules out portfolio tracking, a view of your holdings, and everything else that starts with "once the reader connects". It also rules out overlays of every kind, browser extensions, userscripts, downloads and copy-paste flows. Every outbound link and every contract address goes through a warning page on this domain that is built ahead of time from our own data, so a link we do not already hold does not resolve.

The general version is worth more than the promise: reading a blockchain never requires a signature. Checking whether a token is real is reading public data. Any page that answers "is this token genuine" by asking you to connect a wallet is doing something other than what it says.

Who publishes this

Stocks On Chain is published by Gwei, Inc., a company in the United States. A read-only reference site. Every page reports what public chain state already shows about tokens that other companies issue. Not a broker-dealer, exchange, or investment adviser. We do not sell securities and we hold no customer funds. The full terms are on the legal page.
